Ann is a performer with decades of experience who specializes in songs from the Golden Era of jazz and popular music. She brings these classics to life with both authenticity and freshness, capturing the style and spirit of the original performers while adding her own musical personality. Her performances include interpretations of songs made famous by the great singers of those decades, and she delivers them with elegance, warmth, and flair.

One of Ann’s greatest strengths is her ability to connect with her audience. She has a natural stage presence, engaging listeners with charm and enthusiasm. In short, Ann Mitchell is a wonderful performer who combines talent, professionalism, and genuine audience rapport. I recommend her without reservation and am confident that RIJF audiences will love her!.

John Gabriele,

John has been a teacher and musician in the Rochester area for four decades. Until his retirement he taught at the School of the Arts in the city, where he conducted an award-winning choir and wrote several texts for piano and music theory that are still in use. He has played hundreds of gigs in venues all around the northeast as a soloist, accompanist, and band member.

If Ann Mitchell inquires about performing a musical show – any musical show! -- at your venue, just say yes. It will be good for business.

Ann is one of the most dedicated singer/performers in the Rochester area. She loves music, has performed it all her life, and excels at a range of musical styles from theater to cabaret to jazz.

Ann is particularly interested in music created by women that has now become part of the Great American Songbook. When she puts a show together, it is always well researched and expertly performed by Ann, backed by some of the finest musicians in the Rochester area.

I have witnessed Ann’s creations as both audience member and supporting musician and every one of them has been delightful.
